Happy Holidays from LJFF

The holidays are a special time for hope, joy and family. The LeBron James Family Foundation works hard to bring these all year long, and even more so throughout the holiday season.  

It all starts with bringing our families together. We hosted our latest HomeTown Hall at Spaghetti Warehouse for our 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th grade I PROMISE School families. These family gatherings have become one of our favorite traditions as it gives us a chance to connect and share a hot meal with our incredible students and their families. 

The holiday festivities continued at IPS with a memorable ugly sweater contest for staff and special grade-level color parties for the students. Over at the Village, AT&T decked the halls making another special holiday merry and bright.

We also want to make sure our students are taken care of over winter break, so with the help of our Smucker family and an army of volunteers from Chase, IPS, Team LJFF, Faithful Servants and Two Men and A Truck, we delivered winter snack packs straight to the doorsteps of all our I Promise School families – with high efficiency routes courtesy of Routific.The J.M. Smucker Company provided the goods and our I Promise Network students helped load them up for delivery to sustain our students for the next few weeks – and we’ll be anxiously awaiting them when they return from break!

It's been a tough couple years, but we’re seeing the perseverance, strength and resolve of the I PROMISE movement. A special thanks to all of our supporters and extended family for believing in this important work to redefine community and family.
