We Are Family Reunion

For many years now, our growing Foundation family has looked forward to a full day of fun at our annual We Are Family Reunion at Cedar Point. It’s a time to come together, enjoy the rides, share a meal, and kick off the start of a new school year full of excitement. And it’s come to be the Best. Day. Ever. for so many of our students and their families.

This year, we had nearly 10,000 students, families, partners, and volunteers join us at Cedar Point, including the majority of our brand new I PROMISE third graders and Class of 2022 graduates. For them and every grade level in between – and their entire families – the seasonable Tuesday was spent riding all of the park’s many rollercoasters, cooling off at the Water Park, and enjoying all that Cedar Point has to offer.

We want all to feel a sense of belonging and community any time they see a We Are Family shirt, and that is something that we take to heart.

We want to thank our family at Cedar Point for continuing to host this opportunity for our families to have a day they may not otherwise get to experience. And our family at J.P. Morgan Chase for seamlessly checking in thousands and thousands of LJFF family members – always with a warm, We Are Family welcome.

And to our new family at Supergoop! for providing all of our guests with the best sunscreen to help bring the fun, sun and SPF to our family reunion.

As our family continues to grow, so do the expectations for what it means to be a part of our program and to represent it with pride. We want all to feel a sense of belonging and community any time they see a We Are Family shirt, and that is something that we take to heart.

So as a sea of We Are Family shirts takes over Cedar Point, we do our best to make sure it is everyone’s best day ever and will continue to work towards that ultimate goal.
