Back to School | Year 5

Students’ sneakers screeching down the hall. Buses filling the drop-off line. The happy happy market fully stocked. Hugs, high fives, and smiles all around. The sights and sounds we’ve come to know and love are back as school is officially in session at the I PROMISE School! It’s year five, which means our home is finally at full capacity with students in 3^rd through 8^th grade.

As our students boarded the bus for the first day of school, team LJFF was right beside them on their way to a new beginning. After a summer of fun, it was time to refocus and recenter on school where nothing is given, everything is earned. And to remember that through it all, We Are Family.

It’s year five, which means our home is finally at full capacity with students in 3^rd through 8^th grade.

When they arrived on campus, they were greeted by IPS staff – some familiar, and some new faces – all eager to make this an incredible year.

On each desk was a special pack of school supplies from our friends at Leaf Filter to get them started. In the Family Resource Center, the Happy Happy Market for our families was re-stocked with some help from Walmart.

It’s been a journey since we first opened the doors to IPS in 2018. We’ve learned a lot about what our students, educators, and families need. And we will always be here for them, doing our very best to support them every step of the way.

Here’s to a fresh new year full of growth, love, and learning.
