An Extra Special Spring

This Spring has been an extra special one in I PROMISE land. With the opening of House Three Thirty, every day has new meaning and purpose. And at the I PROMISE School, our student athletes continue to shine.

IPS Spring Sports had its first official Media Day on campus with the 7^th and 8^th grade athletes working through the setups like true professionals. The track and field teams posed for individual and team photos as well as a cool set of lifestyle shots as they repped their IPS gear. It was a fun experience to get the student athletes comfortable with the cameras as the continue to catapult to success!

A huge part of all our students’ success is the incredible educators at the I PROMISE School. We celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day with a special treat from our partners at Lender’s Bagels, stocking each home base with a full bagel bar. It was another way to show our Foundation’s love and appreciation for the tireless work they do to help our students succeed in every way possible.

It’s always a treat to get out and explore the world around us, especially right here in our own backyard in Akron.

Over at House Three Thirty, our Team Members are meeting and exceeding expectations as they’re expanding their skill sets in the various spaces. This week their training takes them into the Sweet Shop and Retail Store as we prepare to open those doors to the community soon. It’s incredible to watch our Team Members continue to push themselves and each other to cover every area of the expansive venue in a Be Best way. 

The We Are Family philosophy is shared with every guest that comes in the door, and we’re so proud of the amazing feedback and response our team is getting from the community so far.
