👑 WE ARE THANKFUL

Over 520 stops. 400 miles driven around Akron all curated by Routific. 62 amazing drivers from Chase, Faithful Servants, Timken, Rhoden Memorial and the I PROMISE School. And incredible on-site volunteers from Timken and the I PROMISE Network all made this year's Thanksgiving meal distribution night another successful one. Earlier in the week, our I PROMISE Network high school students assembled at the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank to prep the hundreds of bags that would be individually dropped at the homes of our I PROMISE families. The ACRFB team didn't miss a beat moving the hundreds of bags and turkeys over to the I PROMISE School in anticipation for drivers to roll up, load in and be sent off on their way.

We remember the days of coordinating routes manually and we couldn't be more THANKFUL that Routific came into our family! They provide this service to us at no cost each year for the Foundation to ensure a smooth and successful distribution that sets our many volunteer drivers up for success. While they're out driving their routes, the Foundation team sets up a command central to follow each individual route throughout the city until the final cars complete their deliveries. We could not have done it with the amazing teams from ACRFB, Timken, Chase, Faithful Servants, Rhoden Memorial, IPS, and Routific as well as our I PROMISE Network students earning some valuable community services hours. The cold and the rain didn't keep anyone away, and if anything, helped us get done in record time.

As we head into this holiday season, we reflect on the many people who make us so proud to say WE ARE FAMILY. We are so very thankful for those in this community and beyond who believe in our work. We are thankful to each and every I PROMISE family who has allowed us to be a part of your family. We are grateful to be rooted in Akron and to get to experience all that our great city has to offer. WE ARE FOREVER GRATEFUL. WE ARE FAMILY.
