👑 Representing Family
We've said it from the start that LeBron can't do this work alone... we can't do this work alone... it takes
a village, and we've seen that village show up countless times when we needed it most and even when we didn't realize we needed it. We get the opportunity to see and experience year-round what the holiday season is all about... believing, giving, and truly doing life TOGETHER. We say THANK YOU to all who are on this journey with us, who have committed for the long haul, who live beyond themselves, and who BELIEVE.
We saw this commitment in action last week as the team from the J.M. Smucker Company led our Winter Snack Pack Distribution. We couldn't let our I PROMISE School families head into winter break without receiving these packs stuffed with good hearty snacks and love by the Smucker team right in House Three Thirty's Hometown Hall sponsored by the J.M. Smucker Company. We again saw around 50 routes driven around Akron by those living beyond themselves from the J.M. Smucker Company, Faithful Servants and JPMorgan Chase. We always love having our I PROMISE Network high school students earning some valuable community service hours for their scholarships and they were right there with us loading up all these cars. We couldn't do it so smoothly without the technology provided yet again from Routific which allows us to deploy the routes and send our volunteers on their way to each and every address of our I PROMISE school families.
This week, millions of people tuned in to watch Ohio take on the world in the 2025 College Football National Championship game. LeBron beamed with pride as his beloved Buckeyes engraved their names in gold, writing an emphatic ending to their chapter of champions. Before the big game, the kid from Akron could be heard voicing the team's hype video, with moments of greatness that included a declaration of family: "When you have family, you do everything you can to defend your family!" While the Buckeyes defended theirs, we continue to serve ours in Akron.
