👑 Promises Kept
This week marks a milestone moment as the l PROMISE School's very first class of 3rd graders prepares to graduate from 8th grade. We can remember so vividly welcoming them to their brand new school as part of our inaugural IPS class, and now to see them thriving and persevering as young adults is a moment we'll never forget.
It's only fitting that our IPS graduates walk across the stage at House Three Thirty - a venue that was inspired by them and their families. It was from our first class of IPS 3rd graders that we began to understand the importance of listening, building relationships, and developing trust with one another. They dug deep with us, opening up about the barriers in their lives and what they needed to be successful. And through the trials, triumphs and tribulations, these students persevered and kept their promise to stay in school. We can't wait to see what they accomplish in high school and beyond.
To send all of our I PROMISE School students off for summer break properly, our friends at LIFEWTR generously provided swag kits that included brand new hoodies, Nike backpacks, and summer passes to Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens. Immediately throwing the sweatshirts on and slinging the bags on their backs, our kids had an extra pep in their step while heading off for a productive and restful break. We look forward to continuing to engage with them all summer long.
As we celebrate and reflect on our inaugural IPS 3rd graders, we continue to be thankful for theirs and their families' trust in allowing us to join them on their journeys. What a ride it's been, and we'll be here for the long
