Family and tradition are at the core of our work in the community, and those roots are alive and well in Akron this week! 

In one of our most timeless traditions, the families at the I PROMISE Village celebrated a special Taco Tuesday thanks to our friends at El Patron in a night complete with a hot family meal and some fun arts and crafts with our family from JOANN. More than a fun thing to say, Taco Tuesday is a time to come together and celebrate everyday life with those around us.

Keeping it all in the family, JOANN is also presenting another exciting Paint & Sip event at House Three Thirty in May. More than just a guided canvas painting designed for artists of all ages, each ticket also includes our specialty Secret Pizza and a glass of wine to top off the experience. And we were more than thrilled to see our 3rd grade I PROMISE School students reading and believing in LeBron's new children's book, I Am More Than. The inspiring story and its beautiful illustrations by Nina Mata officially hit shelves last week, and is available at House Three Thirty's Retail Shop, online and everywhere books are sold.
