We are eager and gearing up for the students at the I PROMISE School to get sorted into their houses as IPS debuts their very own House System under the brilliant leadership of Ms. Arnett and Ms. Pestello. As part of this excitement, Team LJFF put on a special Production Day in tandem with school Picture Day at IPS. The IPS Sorting Day Production, led by Team LJFF, was an opportunity this week for the Foundation to go above and beyond to assist in making the House System at IPS as fun and unique as possible for the students and staff. Students donned their best poses and stances thalwill soon grace our very own House System leaderboard proudly displayed on TVs throughout the school. As the students earn points and reach goals, they will find their very own amazing selves flashing across the leaderboard on any given day of the week. We can't wait to celebrate them and all of their accomplishments as it relates to the Habits of Promise at IPS.

With the start of a new school year, our quarterly Family Feast is back in action at House Three Thirty for our I PROMISE Network hosted by the I PROMISE Institute. This year we will host some of our largest family dinners as the I PROMISE Institute Team has invited all students 3rd grade through College to attend the Family Feasts. At these Family Feasts, IPl is focusing on community service and employment opportunities for families based on feedback from our high school students. A whole host of vendors/partners attended the Family Feast we held this week who we want to give a major shot out to: Summit County Jobs & Family Services, Asian Services In Action, Akron Canton Regional Food Bank, Salvation Army, Haven of Rest, Forever R Children, Chase, Coleman Health Services, AxessPointe, Cleveland Clinic Akron General, Stark State College, and League of Women Voters. But wait there's more!! This year the IPI Team is bringing back our much-loved raffle giveaways. Every 30 minutes during this week's Family Feast, a $250 Walmart gift card was raffled off and four amazing I PROMISE families left with one in their pocket.

And why not add one final kick-off for the week! IPS soccer "KICKS OFF" this afternoon with a scrimmage vs. Hyre at Hyre CLC starting at 4:30pm. Come support and cheer on our amazing players and coaches as they begin their second soccer season at IPS. Let's GO IPS!!! WE ARE FAMILY.
