👑 Graduates

In third grade, our students make a big promise: to finish school. While the path to completion – be that a diploma, trade, military or wherever a passion may lead – looks different for all of them, the root remains the same. To never give up, no matter what. With the end of the school year upon us, we're celebrating our latest class of college graduates to walk across the stage and receive the ultimate sign of a promise kept – a college degree.

This Spring, we have nine graduates earning their degrees in fields ranging from Molecular and Cellular Biology to Criminology & Justice Studies. Completing their Majors and Minors with our partners at Kent State University and The University of Akron, our I Promise students stayed the course, even when it was easier not to. In our latest video series, our I Promise students share an emotional letter to their younger selves, cautioning of the challenges ahead, but also leaning into self-confidence and hard work. Their stories are filled with highs and lows, but each one of them paints a picture of value, belief, and family. We are so proud to share their journeys as they begin the next chapter of their life-long pursuit of greatness.
