IPS Podcast Premiere

This moment was years in the making. The I PROMISE School news team had brainstormed their questions, prepared their opening lines, and rehearsed their parts over and over again. They were about to record their very first podcast with a very special premiere guest. And then a 6’9” kid from Akron walked through the door and in that moment, they were speechless. 

Once they got past the initial shock with a few nervous giggles, IPS students Aliza, Christian, Dominick, and Jenisha expertly navigated their very first interview with LeBron James for the launch episode of their brand new podcast, Let’s Taco ‘Bout It. Recorded in House Three Thirty’s Taco Shop by Old El Paso, the entertaining and insightful student-led interview gives insights into LeBron’s life that no other podcast had previously been able to pull out.

IPS students Aliza, Christian, Dominick, and Jenisha expertly navigated their very first interview with LeBron James for the launch episode of their brand new podcast, Let’s Taco ‘Bout It. 

For these students, it was the podcast debut they had always dreamed of and worked hard to create.For LeBron, it was a proud moment being able to support his students’ dreams and help them build a platform of their own. Ultimately, it was one of the best interviews of his career to date.
