Space Jam First Look at IPS

On any given day, I PROMISE students have learned to expect the unexpected, never knowing what latest surprise LeBron may have in store for them. But they also know everything is earned, not given. So as they continue to work hard and strive to be their best selves, they know there are plenty of surprises in store along the way.

I PROMISE School.

With the world waiting for details on the upcoming Space Jam: A New Legacy, it was five hand-picked I PROMISE students who got the very first look at the film’s very first cover story. As a reward for their hard work, IPS students Fallon, A’Reon, Sean, Ti’Jay and Sembelly had the opportunity to see and take pictures with the cover before it made its way into the world. They each kept their promise, keeping the highly confidential news under wraps until it made its global debut.

In everything LeBron does, he makes sure to bring his kids from Akron along with him. Because he knows the doors and imaginations he opens every single time they see him step into a new opportunity.

Speaking of opportunity, the I PROMISE School staff is working around the clock to prepare for their scholars’ return to school in person. Teachers are on campus full time this week getting everything ready for their kids that will return full time next week.

With everything our students, staff and families have been through over this past year, they’ve truly become prepared for anything. Larger-than-life surprises and all.
