Year Three
Like much of the world, the new school year at the I PROMISE School looks a little bit different. This week kicked off weeks of online learning, with the IPS educators working both at school and at home to keep their students engaged and learning.

It is a testament to the staff’s hard work and the students’ passion for IPS that on the first official day of distance learning, the vast majority of students in 3rd through 6th grades are attending virtual classes. With 80% of our 3rd graders present, 92% of our 4th graders logging on, and nearly 100% participation in 5th and 6th grades, our students are showing up and committing to the hard work the situation requires.
This new learning experience will only help us all grow stronger together as we overcome hurdles, collectively uplift our community and continue to defy all expectations.
We are so proud
of ALL of our
I PROMISE students!
Speaking of expectations, our proud I PROMISE parent, Donna, has beyond surpassed many of the expectations she had for her own path in life, recently earning her GED through the Foundation’s I PROMISE Too program.
Speaking of expectations, our proud I PROMISE parent, Donna, has beyond surpassed many of the expectations she had for her own path in life, recently earning her GED through the Foundation’s I PROMISE Too program. She is now enrolled at The University of Akron studying Computer Information Systems and Cyber Security. To celebrate her achievement and help her prepare for her next chapter, the Foundation hosted Donna for a special shopping experience to ensure her confidence continues to soar.

We are so proud of ALL of our I PROMISE students – both the kids and parents – for persevering through this tough time and continuing to be perpetual learners.
WE ARE FAMILY!
