Election Day

IPS Students Vote for Promise Keepers
Posted on 11/21/2019

On Friday, November 8, IPS Students headed to the polls and voted for their Promise Keeper representatives. The I Promise School-Promise Keepers role is similar to that of student council in which our members will be working towards a common goal of making the I Promise School a nationally recognized model of urban and public school excellence. Promise Keepers is an organization of students who work towards improving their school and community.

The Promise Keepers are made up of three representatives from the 3rd grade, four representatives for the 4th grade and six representatives from the 5th grade class, other positions will be made available as we expand.  The Promise Keepers will meet once or twice a month to coordinate school and community projects.
